Description

During a visit to a local mall, John Reams, the newest member of the
Chai Cycle order witnesses a daring kidnapping. A young girl is stolen by
a pedophile in broad daylight. After rescuing the child John realizes that
she is not only unafraid of her kidnapper, but she has remarkable intuitive
abilities as well. Johns mentor, Zen Lee, believes young Lisa Jansen may
not only have a special gift for the Chai Cycle; a discipline which empowers
its practitioners with special abilities, but may well be the Prodigy foretold
hundreds of years ago to rebuild the near-dead Chai fellowship. While
John and Zen Lee work to protect Lisa from danger, they soon learn that
little Lisa Jansen may be more than able to protect herself.
